The Single Source Regulations Office (SSRO) has published its new Digital Strategy, which brings together our previous Data Strategy and Defence Contract Analysis and Reporting System (DefCARS) Future Technology Strategy.
DefCARS is the SSRO’s online, web-enabled system which facilitates submission of statutory reports to the SSRO and MOD. The new Digital Strategy has a focus on Technology, Data, People and Processes and sets out our vision alongside a roadmap for the next iteration of a combined IT Managed Services and DefCARS solution.
This strategy both enables and supports the SSRO in the delivery of its statutory functions, and collecting data that is relevant, reliable, and accessible. We will review the strategy at appropriate intervals; so it adapts to new developments and learning.
